G'day Brad.
On behalf of the Wagga Triants, I would like to congratulate you for your success last weekend in Melbourne for your Commonwealth Games Win.

Many of our new club members may not have met you, but there are those of us who have been around long enough to see you develop from a Junior of the Wagga Triants, progressing into the junior elite and onto your professional career in Triathlon.
A large number of club members were on hand last Saturday at St Kilda and were awestruck by your grace and tactics that saw you tear away from the pack in the last 5km of the run to go on and win what was described as an 'outstanding race to watch.'
Your last 6 weeks of racing has been very inspiring to anyone who understands the dedication and countless hours spent training for this unforgiving sport. Your wins in Perth, Hobart, Doha and Melbourne have shown just what heights can be reached by our club members who have the desire to achieve their dreams.
For any club members who would like more of Brad's background, he actually was a very talented runner who came into the sport when the Wagga Triants was founded in 1994. Our Monday Swim sessions out at Lake Albert sometimes only made it as far as the sandbar and back! However, Brad was certainly determined to push beyond local racing where he had already started to dominate by his late teens.
The club wishes you the best of luck for the rest of the 2006 ITU season. May it be successful, memorable and injury free.
All the best!
Mark Wilson - President
