Registration will be held in Lake Albert
Hall for all events, please arive at least 1 hour before
the start of your race to give yourself time to register
and get your bike setup in the transition area. Transition
will close 15 minutes before race start.
The transition area will open at the following
times -
Olympic race - 6.30am
Junior race - 7.00am
Sprint race - 10.00 am
All presentation for the Olympic race, the Junior race and the Sprint race will
be conducted at 1.00pm in Lake Albert Hall.
All Triathlon Australia race rules apply.
This is a non drafting event.
All road rules apply.
COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

Olympic race
The run consists of 2 laps of a 5km course. The run heads out towards the boat club on an undulating track. The turn around point is at the intersection of the Boat Club Road and Plumpton Road. Drink stations will be setup every 2.5km. (10 km)
The cycle will start with a lap around Lake Albert.
From the transition area cyclist will head north up Main
Street, turn left at the Kooringal Road roundabout, turn
left at the Plumpton Raod roundabout and left again at the
Gregadoo intersection. The race will then continue to the
end of Gregadoo road turning right onto Mitchell Road. (Caution
at this intersection is advised) The race continues out
through flat terain and then up over Gregadoo Hill until
you get to a left turn at Elizabeth Avenue. Up over Elizabeth
Av. towards the airport until you take a left turn into
Inglewood Road. At the T intersection at the end of Inglewood
Road you take a left back onto Mitchell Road, then a left
into Cummins Rd and a right into Rosevale Road, right onto
Dukes Rd. Then left back onto Mitchell Road and right back
onto Gregadoo Road, right onto Main St and back into the
transition area. (40 km)
The run consists a one lap 5km course. The run
heads out towards the boat club on an undulating track.
The turn around point is at the intersection of the Boat
Club Road and Plumpton Road. Drink stations will be setup
every 2.5km. (5 km)
Sprint Race - (see map below)
The run consists of an out and back 2km course. The run heads out towards the boat club on an undulating track. The turn around point is 1 km out. A drink station will be setup at the turn around point. (4 km)
The cycle is 2 laps around Lake Albert. From the
transition area cyclist will head north up Main Street,
turn left at the Kooringal Road roundabout, turn left at
the Plumpton Raod roundabout and left again at the Gregadoo
intersection. The race will then continue to the Main Street
intersection turning left up Main Street and continuing
up Main Street past the transition area to complete a second
lap of this course. (16 km)
The run consists of an two laps of a 2km out and back course. The
run heads out towards the boat club on an undulating track.
The turn around point is 1 km out. A drink station will
be setup at the turn around point. (2 km)
Junior Race - (see map below for cycle
leg)
The run consists of an out and back 500m course. The run heads out towards the boat club on an undulating track. The turn around point is 500m out. A drink station will be setup at the start/finish line.
The cycle is one lap around Lake Albert. From the
transition area cyclist will head north up Main Street,
turn left at the Kooringal Road roundabout, turn left at
the Plumpton Raod roundabout and left again at the Gregadoo
intersection. The race will then continue to the Main Street
intersection turning left up Main Street and back into the
transition area at the oval, opposite the Lake Albert Store.
(8 km)
The run consists of an out and back 500m course. The
run heads out towards the boat club on an undulating track.
The turn around point is 500m out. A drink station will
be setup at the start/finish.
