This year saw one of Wagga’s largest contingents, ever; migrate to the beautiful North Coast of NSW. Their destination a little further north than usual, to the bustling metropolis of Port Macquarie.
There were eight Wagga locals competing, consisting of Barbour, Chamberlain, Devries, Dyde, Lollback, McMullen, Palmer and Smith. Each and every one of these athletes brought a rather large support crew which ended up being half of the Wagga population! There were five other wannabe Wagga-ites consisting of Madge and Toms who have just left the local area for greener pastures and the two out of towners, Wilson and Wornnock and finally Trevaskis now located in Australia’s Capital.
